Job Description

The Analyst, Crew Productivity & Process Improvement supports efforts to enhance crew performance and operational efficiency through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. This role focuses on analyzing workforce productivity metrics, identifying trends, and supporting the development and implementation of tools and processes that improve crew effectiveness. Working closely with operations, shipboard HR, product teams, and shipboard stakeholders, the Analyst translates data insights into actionable recommendations. The role contributes to ongoing improvements in scheduling systems, workforce planning, and process standardization, while supporting change management initiatives and adoption of new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. Responsibilities Analyze crew productivity metrics, performance trends, and utilization data; develop recurring reports and dashboards Identify efficiency gaps and lead initiatives to improve productivity and service quality Support workforce planning on the vessels and staffing analysis by partnering with operations leadership and Shipboard HR Assist in rollout and adoption of scheduling systems and new features, including user support and training materials Support product management activities for crew scheduling tools, including testing, documentation, and feedback collection Maintain and improve reporting tools, data models, and analytics frameworks Prepare and present insights on crew productivity, system performance, and operational improvements Support cross-functional projects related to process improvement and system enhancements Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required - Engineering, business or operations (Master's Degree Prefered) 2-4 years of experience. Preferred experience in workforce management, operations, process improvement, change management, product thinking This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their home on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. At Carnival, your total rewards package is much more than your base salary. Paid Time Off:
Holidays - All full-time and part-time with benefits employees receive days off for 8 company-wide holidays, plus 2 additional floating holidays to be taken at the employee's discretion. Vacation Time - All full-time employees at the manager and below level start with 14 days/year; director and above level start with 19 days/year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure. Sick Time - All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
