HR Generalist 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 609 Beaver Ruin Road, Lilburn, GA 30047 Full-time Tebo Dental Group 34 reviews Full-time Tebo Dental , an Atlanta-based pediatric dental group, is seeking a motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing multi-location organization. This position plays a key role in recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, HR operations, and personnel administration across all practice locations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, proactive, and capable of balancing high-volume recruiting responsibilities with broader human resources functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Our practices are located in Lilburn, Peachtree Corners, Dacula, Gainesville, and Cumming. Primary on-site presence is required in our Lilburn office; however, occasional travel to other practice locations may be required as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate recruiting efforts companywide for clinical, administrative, customer service, and management positions Review incoming resumes and identify qualified candidates for open positions Manage and maintain job postings across multiple hiring platforms Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate evaluations Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership Conduct reference checks and assist with candidate due diligence Administer and evaluate skills assessments, personality profiles, and aptitude testing Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive applicant experience Assist with dentist recruitment efforts, onboarding coordination, and employment agreement administration Support staffing strategy discussions with operations leadership and department managers Assist with career fairs, recruiting events, and workforce development initiatives Administer onboarding and new-hire orientation processes Ensure proper completion and maintenance of employee documentation, personnel files, and I-9 records Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, PTO, policies, and personnel matters Administer employee separations, unemployment claims, and compliance-related notices Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA and other protected leave processes Assist management with employee relations matters, disciplinary documentation, corrective action processes, and performance improvement plans Develop, implement, and present employee engagement and retention initiatives Assist with compensation analysis, benchmarking, and market pay research for various positions Review, update, and maintain HR policies, forms, notices, and employee documentation to ensure consistency and compliance across all practice locations Ensure required labor law postings and HR notices are properly maintained throughout all offices Track employee attendance and maintain HR reporting and documentation Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and document meeting minutes as needed Assist with evaluating and implementing HR systems, workflow improvements, and operational efficiencies Partner with leadership to support organizational development and HR best practices Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment regarding sensitive employee matters Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Previous HR Generalist experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and employee relations SHRM certification preferred Healthcare or dental industry experience preferred Ability to work Monday-Friday Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and strong customer service skills Ability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks, and assignments Ability to empathize and appropriately handle sensitive or confidential employee issues Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment platforms
