JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for coordinating the efficient operation of the Human Resource function within the Company with focus on achieving the brand promise Smart People, Working Fast, Customer Focused.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains current knowledge of Accumold policies and benefits and assists in communicating information appropriately to managers and employees. Develops knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations. Assists in the recruitment process by placing advertisements, screening applicants, checking references, etc. Completes review of applicant s background and drug screen results to determine fit for future needs as well as consult on pending employee decisions. Supports the pre-employment information processes as needed. Organizes new hire information according to set procedure. Assists with various Human Resource information initiatives - HRIS related activities which is used to maintain and create updates to all confidential electronic personnel records and training records. Oversees FMLA leave process by providing notification of eligibility, processing certification forms, and tracking FMLA hours. Maintains communication with employee and facility during leave and coordinates return to work process. Communicates changes in benefit plans to employees. Prior to renewals, researches various benefit options and reports those to management. Available to attend employee performance appraisals and coach staff on process. Researches and/or arranges for training as required by training procedures and staff development goals. Prepares information for 260E/F, EEOC, and OSHA required reports. Assists in the coordination of the Company s training program. Utilizes learning management system to track and report on training metrics. Coordinates employee separation process. Responsible for documentation and communication regarding unemployment claims. Assists with planning employee events. Responsible for making arrangements as needed. Other duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education/Experience . Two years of college coursework or equivalent related office experience required, plus a minimum of three years administrative experience. Knowledge of human resource functions preferred. Computer Skills . Ability to operate personal computer, fax machine, copy machine and telephone required. Above average knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required. Language Skills . Proven written communication skills necessary. Oral communication skills necessary for speaking on occasion to groups. Also, the ability to effectively present information or training to employees, in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability needed to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and organizational rules and policies. Mathematical Skills . Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability . Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Other Skills and Abilities . Must possess the interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with a broad spectrum of Accu-Mold staff and vendor organizations. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a professional relationship with fellow workers and the general public. Willingness to attend conferences, classes or training to enhance and update knowledge and skills. Supervisory Responsibilities . None. Physical Demands . While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may be required to stand and walk and sit for extended periods of time. Dexterity to perform computer operations necessary. Work Environment . The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Office conditions are normal.
