United States Reports To Director of Customer Success Salary Range:
$40,000 - $45,000/year Position Summary The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting new customer implementations by collecting, entering, and validating sow farm data during the onboarding process for PigFlow. This role is especially important for customers who do not currently have a sow records system or data management platform in place. As part of the Customer Success team, the Onboarding Specialist will travel to commercial sow farms throughout the United States and work on-site to enter sow information into the PigFlow app. This work helps build the customer's initial database and prepares the farm for a successful onboarding experience. This is a remote-based, full-time salaried position requiring extensive travel, hands-on work in commercial swine production environments, and a high level of accuracy in data entry. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Onboarding & Data Entry Travel to customer sow farms across the United States to support PigFlow onboarding. Collect, enter, and validate sow information in the PigFlow app. Build initial farm databases for customers who do not currently have a sow records system or data management platform. Ensure data is entered accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Work throughout the farm to capture relevant sow and production information. Review data for missing, inconsistent, or unclear information and communicate issues to the appropriate internal or customer contact. Support a smooth transition from manual, paper-based, or non-digital records into PigFlow. On-Farm Implementation Support Work directly within commercial sow farm and swine production environments. Follow strict bio-security protocols to protect herd health. Follow all farm-specific biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and PPE requirements. Represent SwineTech and PigFlow professionally while on customer sites. Communicate clearly with farm staff, farm managers, and internal Customer Success team members. Provide updates on data entry progress, completion status, and any barriers to accurate onboarding. Customer Success Collaboration Partner with the Customer Success team to execute onboarding plans. Help ensure customer data is complete and ready for use in PigFlow. Escalate data concerns or onboarding roadblocks as needed. Maintain strong attention to detail while working independently in field-based environments. Contribute to a positive customer experience through professionalism, dependability, and accurate work. When in office, responsible for provisioning equipment needed for PigFlow installations. Travel Requirements Approximately 80% travel is required. Travel will occur throughout the United States. Overnight travel and long-duration trips are expected. Mileage, meals, hotels, and other approved travel expenses are covered by the company. Candidates must be comfortable spending extended periods away from home based on customer onboarding needs. Schedule The schedule will vary depending on customer needs, farm schedules, and onboarding timelines. Workdays may begin as early as 4:00 a.m. and may extend until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.

Weekend work Early mornings Long workdays Extended travel periods Flexibility based on farm access, customer timelines, and onboarding requirements Work Environment This role is primarily field-based and takes place inside commercial sow farms and swine production facilities. The Onboarding Specialist should be comfortable working in livestock environments and following strict farm protocols. Work conditions may include exposure to livestock, farm odors, noise, wet or slippery surfaces, varying temperatures, and standard commercial swine production conditions. Required PPE will be provided or required according to company and farm-specific protocols. Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry. Ability to use mobile apps, tablets, and digital tools effectively. Comfortable working in commercial sow farm and swine production environments. Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time across the United States. Ability to work weekends, early mornings, long days, and extended travel assignments as needed. Ability to follow biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and PPE requirements. Strong communication skills and professional customer-facing behavior. Ability to work independently while staying aligned with internal Customer Success priorities. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company travel requirements. Preferred Qualifications Prior sow farm or swine production experience. Experience working in commercial pork production environments. Experience with data entry, records management, or farm data systems. Familiarity with sow records, pig flow, breeding, gestation, farrowing, or production workflows. Experience supporting customer onboarding, implementation, or field-based service work. Comfortable working with farm teams, production managers, and customer stakeholders. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout commercial swine facilities for extended periods (8-12 hours per day). Ability to use a mobile device or tablet while working in a farm environment. Ability to comply with farm entry requirements, including required PPE and biosecurity protocols. Ability to work in environments with livestock, odors, noise, wet surfaces, and variable temperatures. Ability to travel frequently by car and/or air. No heavy lifting is required. Success Measures Success in this role will be primarily measured by: Accuracy of data entered into PigFlow. Completeness and consistency of customer onboarding data. Ability to meet onboarding timelines and project expectations. Professionalism while working on customer farms. Clear communication with Customer Success team members and customer contacts. Ability to follow farm-specific protocols and travel expectations. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in commercial swine production environments. They understand the importance of accurate farm data and can work independently while traveling extensively. This person is comfortable with early mornings, weekend work, and extended trips, and they take pride in helping customers start their PigFlow experience with clean, reliable data.
