As an HR Intern, you will support the People & Talent team by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, operations, and learning and development, while gaining hands-on experience with HR systems, processes, and best practices in a professional services environment.Responsibilities may include:
Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, resume screening and organizing, and scheduling interviews. Assist with recruiting and campus events by supporting logistics, preparing materials, and tracking follow‑up actions. Provide general support for internal programs, employee engagement initiatives, and People & Talent projects. Support onboarding processes, including preparing new hire materials, account creation, and assisting with first‑day schedules. Help track employee training participation and maintain learning records. This role may be for you if you want to demonstrate your performance and ability to potentially join Honkamp as a full-time employee.Qualifications:
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.Successful candidates will have:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365. Experience with, or ability to learn, the operation of basic office equipment. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational and time management skills. Prolonged periods of working on a computer and ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (e.g. sitting at a desk).
