Job Description

Position:
Recruiting Specialist Job Summary:
This position provides a wide variety of Human Resource responsibilities, including but not limited to talent acquisition, records maintenance and management, administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), onboarding, and affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports Processes new hires, completes form I-9, verifies I-9 documentation Handles recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Conducts onboarding of candidates to include new hire paperwork Conducts new hire orientation to foster positive and safe attitude toward company Vision and Common Purpose Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data through Paycom Assists with employment application intake Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures Assists with other HR projects
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
Knowledge and ability to process I-9 forms Effective oral and written communication skills Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational skills Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work Flexibility to travel across state lines
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Required Education and Experience:
Preferred Associate Degree or 2+ years of related experience as a recruiter Knowledge of commonly used HR concepts, practices, and laws
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
