  • Entry Level Kress is looking for a full-time entry-level HR Generalist to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.
The HR Generalist will support day-to-day human resources operations within a well-established manufacturing environment. This role focuses on day-to-day HR duties, onboarding, employee relations support, and HR administrative functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires (orientation, paperwork, system setup) Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Support employee relations by responding to basic employee inquiries and escalating issues as needed Track attendance, timekeeping, and leave records in partnership with supervisors Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and employment laws Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant Qualifications•High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 1-2 years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing or industrial environment a plus) Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, employee records, and compliance Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred Kress Benefits• Group Health Insurance including Prescriptions Dental Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
