As an HR Generalist, you will partner with leaders and employees alike to drive retention efforts, support labor relations, and ensure smooth, compliant HR operations.
What You'll Do:
Be the go-to person for employee questions and HR support. Administer the full life cycle for all staff Manage recruiting, from job posting to offer letters. Lead engaging onboarding and orientation experiences. Maintain employee files and manage HRIS updates, and ensure data accuracy and integrity Support benefits enrollment and assist with employee leave management. Guide managers through performance reviews and coaching conversations. Help shape our employee culture through recognition and inclusion efforts. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies. Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and guide in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, and employment law.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process:
posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending offers. Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a welcoming experience. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure confidentiality of personnel data (certificates, payment updates, termination processing, employment status change, benefits eligibility) Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance enrollments, leave, FMLA, and 401(k) plans. Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Coordinate and maintain training programs and learning initiatives for all employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices. Assist with HR initiatives, including employee recognition, diversity and inclusion programs, wellness initiatives, and training sessions. Plan and support employee events, surveys, recognition programs, and morale-building activities. Assist with HR reporting, data review, and audit activities related to workforce metrics and compliance needs. Participate in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Handle employee relations with professionalism, empathy, and fairness. Assist the HR Director with ad-hoc HR initiatives and projects.
Performance Standards:
Perform work under general supervision Ability to work in a largely autonomous work environment Handle moderately complex issues and problems Apply HR policies and employment law in day-to-day activities Manage multiple priorities while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution. Conduct administrative detail work (i.e., data entry & analysis) with high accuracy Shift mid-stream as needed to shift business needs and approaches Provide coaching and mentoring as needed A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive, and enthusiasm Adhere to the Company Code of Ethics and actively demonstrate the company's values in all interactions.
