Job Description
Refreshed Tech is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our growing workforce and help drive a positive employee experience. This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders across the organization, providing support in recruiting, employee relations, compliance, performance management, benefits administration, and workforce development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with 5-7 years of progressive human resources experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and operations environment. This individual must be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic HR initiatives with daily operational responsibilities.
Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Conduct full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, pre-employment screenings, and offers Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs. Maintain recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors. Investigate employee concerns and workplace issues while maintaining confidentiality. Provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and employment practices. Support conflict resolution and foster a positive workplace culture. Assist leaders with coaching, corrective action, and performance management processes. Participate in safety, wellness, and employee engagement initiatives.
HR Compliance & Administration:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records. Administer I-9, E-Verify, background checks, and new hire documentation. Assist with leave administration, including
FMLA, ADA
accommodations, and Workers' Compensation. Support policy implementation, and communication. Coordinate performance review programs and employee development initiatives. Track employee evaluations, goals, and development plans. Support leadership training and workforce development programs. Assist with succession planning and talent development efforts. Maintain HR metrics and dashboards. Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership. Track turnover, retention, recruiting effectiveness, attendance trends, and other workforce KPIs.
Benefits & Employee Programs:
Lead employee benefits enrollment and administration. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issue resolution. Coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resources experience required. Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. Experience supporting warehouse, or production environments preferred. Experience with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution. Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Paycor or similar HRIS preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Ability to analyze workforce data and generate meaningful reports. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to communicate professionally at all organizational levels.
