We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to play a vital role in ensuring that our team receives the support needed. You will be responsible for many facets of the Human Resources functions. This position requires a positive and driven individual who is experienced. What You Will Do:
Administer employee status changes in ADP, including new hires and terminations, and communicate to relevant parties. Prepare new-employee files and maintain files according to State and Federal regulations. Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Reconciles monthly invoices for all benefit plans. Conduct stay and exit interviews and compile data for analysis. Provide guidance to management and employees on human resources issues to ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and programs. Monitor unemployment process and responds to claims with requested documentation. Coordinates uniform allowance program with the field. Maintain updated organizational charts. Participate in HR project teams as required. Projects may include but are not limited to monthly newsletter, service awards, HR forms, AR Meeting planning, etc. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technology, including federal and state employment law and compliance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by HR Manager.
Additional Duties and Expectations:
Demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, and good judgment. Resource, talent management, and employment law. Must have superior oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel. Ability to be a collaborative, team player. Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure. Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and to accomplish job duties in an efficient and timely manner. Ability to work independently. Strong consultative and coaching skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong business acumen. Education and Experience A Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is strongly preferred. At least two years of related experience is required. Proficiency with
ADP HRIS
system. Qualtrics Survey Software experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
