Job Description

Onsite | Direct Hire | Kansas City Metro Our client, a growing organization with operations across several states, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their corporate team in Kansas City. This newly created role will focus on employee support, compliance, and HR systems while partnering closely with leaders across the business. The HR team is expanding as the company continues to grow, and this position will play an important role in supporting employees and managers across multiple locations. This role will be people-focused, working closely with managers on employee relations, workplace concerns, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace questions Support employee relations matters, including performance discussions, investigations, and coaching managers Manage HRIS updates, employee status changes, and system troubleshooting Assist with HR compliance activities, reporting, and internal audits Coordinate with HR team members on leave administration and employee accommodations Manage workers'compensation claims and partner with employees and managers throughout the process Assist with performance review processes and tracking Support data reporting and HR metrics as needed Ensure HR documentation and records remain accurate and compliant with regulations Contribute to HR projects and process improvements across the department Qualifications 4+ years of HR experience Experience working with HRIS systems Exposure to workers'compensation, leave administration, employee relations Strong Excel and data management skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Strong communication and relationship-building skills MH456
