As a Program Support Assistant Intern within the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion/Compliance, you will play an active role in advancing initiatives that promote fairness, equity, and inclusive practices across the Authority. This position offers hands-on experience supporting programs that engage diverse communities, strengthen outreach efforts, and ensure equitable access to opportunities. In this role, you will assist with project coordination, research, and administrative support that contribute to the team's mission of fostering an inclusive organizational culture. You will work with internal stakeholders and external partners, gaining exposure to compliance processes, diversity recruitment strategies, and community engagement efforts.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with administrative tasks related to monitoring projects and program plans Support the maintenance and updating of internal and external outreach lists Conduct research to support diversity recruitment initiatives Provide document management support, including: Data entry and basic data analysis Assistance with certification processes Support for B2G uploads and application processing Contribute to special projects as assigned Provide front desk support, including answering phones and assisting visitors as needed
EDUCATION, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university. Interest in workforce and business diversity and compliance initiatives and programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is based at our Logan Office Center. Ability to work a 30-37.5 hour work week (on-site) Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application. Ability to pass Massport's pre-employment-controlled substance test and background checks.
