Talent & Organizational Development Training Specialist Lutherville, MD
Description:
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Talent & Organizational Development Training Specialist to join our expanding HR team and help shape how our people learn, grow, and thrive. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Organizational Development, you will have the unique opportunity to shape an essential part of our employees' journey with us. In this role, you'll lead impactful learning experiences, facilitating engaging workshops and trainings both in person and virtually. You'll drive performance management and succession planning through a data-informed lens, and take ownership of our LMS, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and inspiring. $75,000 - $100,000 Salary

What you'll do: In partnership with the Director, Talent and OD, and key stakeholders, identify and nurture talent within the organization. Administering and aiding in the development and facilitation of leadership and employee training and onboarding programs tailored to the unique needs of our employee population in SAGE House and in our field venues. Executing talent processes such as Performance Management and Succession Planning. Integrate innovative and effective training methods to ensure the program remains cutting-edge. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and leaders, fostering their professional growth and development. Conduct in-person and virtual seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc. Consult employees and their managers to suggest appropriate learning paths in support of career/professional development. Foster open lines of communication between leadership and staff, creating a positive and collaborative work environment. Coordinate course offerings and schedules and make all necessary arrangements needed to prepare, conduct & execute a training session (e.g., printing & ordering materials, setting up class in LMS, reserving training rooms/spaces for facilitation, creating class rosters in LMS, room set-up and clean-up, record learning in LMS, closing out the class in LMS, metric review, pre- and post-training communications and follow-up, reinforcement activities for positive transfer of training, etc. Analyze and evaluate performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership effectiveness. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in Learning & Development as a Facilitator, as an Instructional Designer or as an LMS Administrator. Proven success in designing and implementing impactful leadership development programs. Strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the service and hospitality sector. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to tailor training programs to different leadership levels and styles. Advanced MS Excel Skills Strong project management skills. Experience with SchooX and Workday is a plus.
