Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking an HR Specialist to (Hybrid Onsite) in Silver Spring, MD.The candidate will support the NOAA Office of Marine Aviation Operations and the NOAA Corps Commissioned Personnel Center (CPC).CPC is responsible for personnel management, medical administration, payroll, retirement, career management and assignment coordination for the entire cadre of the NOAA Corps officers, both active duty and retired.

You will support CPC and multiple HR specialists, with providing administrative support to all human resources support activities necessary to support the officers of the NOAA Commissioned Corps.

Duties include but not limited to;Maintain and organize employment records and process paperwork to ensure all required information is complete.

Perform technical work in support of processing personnel actions such as promotions, benefits, reassignments and retirements and separations.

Conduct in and out processing of personnel and assist employees in the completion, maintenance and updating of forms.

Inputting and/or extracting employment data and maintaining personnel data and records.

Provide advice and guidance for benefits, and human resources actions.

General Description of BenefitsMust have at least an Associate's degree.

Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

At least 5 years of experience in administrative support, Human Resource systems, personnel systems support.

Must be well organized with a specific focus on the details.

Must be able to effectively communicate specialized information orally and in writing.
