- 65K Summary Under the direction of the HR Director, the HR generalist will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, some HR administrative tasks, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and government requirements at 2 of our facilities.
One facility is located in Grand Blanc with roughly 100 employees and runs 1 day shift. The other facility is located 5 minutes away in Holly with approximately 60 employees and also runs on 1 day shift. Essential Functions Implement recruitment strategies, manage the full hiring process, and collaborate with hiring managers Conduct investigations address employees' concerns and employment needs, while fostering a positive work environment. Explain employee benefits and assist them in filling out their information. Handle the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience. Maintain employee records. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Education, and Experience High School Diploma required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role. Associates/bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and other Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and record keeping. Ability to drive to multiple locations within a 15-mile radius. Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently to achieve solutions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to anticipate work needs and be proactive in efforts to ensure requests and tasks do not fall behind. Exhibit impeccable professionalism with all levels of the organization. Ability to work well with team members. Bilingual in both English in Spanish is a plus. Licensing/Certifications None Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Vehicles Used General office equipment including computers, printers, fax machines and telephones.
