CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as an ON-SITE Human Resources Intern at our Main Office in Hillsdale, Michigan.
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR function with a key organizational project focused on building a comprehensive inventory of all positions across the organization. This position will assist with building, updating, and standardizing all job descriptions. The Human Resources intern will receive hands on experience in job analysis, organizational structure, and Human Resources documentation while working closely with business leaders across all departments. Key Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive inventory of all positions within the organizationPartner with department leaders to gather information about job responsibilities, duties, and required qualificationsConduct job analysis through interviews and questionnaires and utilize industry benchmarking to ensure market alignmentDevelop job descriptions that clearly outline essential job functions, qualifications, and reporting relationshipsIdentify inconsistencies in job title, responsibilities, or reporting structure and communicate findings to HR leadership Provide support to the HR team as needed which may include assisting in coordinating schedules, onboarding, and HR record maintenance Qualifications Required Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field Preferred Experience with research, documentation, or data organization projects
