Start Date:
ASAP / within 2 weeks We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support HR operations in a manufacturing/plant environment. This role will partner closely with managers and employees to support employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compensation, compliance, performance management, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR Generalist background, experience supporting a production or manufacturing workforce, and working knowledge of HR systems such as Workday and UKG . Responsibilities Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the local site Support HR strategies, programs and policies aligned with business needs Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, performance management and engagement Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and new employee support Support workforce planning, talent development, retention and engagement programs Help managers navigate performance management tools and internal HR processes Gather, analyze, and interpret HR data for reporting and business decision-making Address employee relations issues, concerns, complaints, and corrective action items Support compliance with local and federal employment laws , company policies, and HR procedures Assist with compensation, benefits, claims, taxes, and other HR-related functions Partner with local leadership to develop and support retention and engagement plans Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required 3+ years of HR experience required Manufacturing, plant, or production environment experience strongly preferre d Broad HR Generalist experience including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and compliance Experience with Workday preferred Experience with UKG preferred Strong knowledge of local and federal employment laws Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills Job Disclaimer Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
