Posting Details Position Information Position Title Clinical Education Specialist - Onboarding Division Academic Affairs Department/Office Clinical Education Position Summary Information Advertisement The Clinical Education Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Clinical Education Specialist - Onboarding position. The Clinical Education Specialist is accountable for program and/or departmental work in the School of Nursing (SoN) and Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Sciences (HSSHS) by providing administrative support to the Nursing Clinical Experience Liaisons and HSSHS placement coordinators for delegated tasks, as well as supporting students/faculty with educational tutorials and answering questions regarding onboarding processes. Specialists also assist with the coordination and implementation of Clinical Readiness Fairs and other Clinical and Fieldwork Clearance Office (CFCO) events.
Additional duties include:
Enter and update clinical placement data in clinical management software (Eg. Exxat-Prism, Clinician Nexus, and other platforms as needed) accurately and efficiently. Generate reports from the software, as needed, and share them with the Nursing Clinical Experience Liaison team. Assist students with navigating the clinical management software as needed. Respond to student and faculty emails as appropriate to role. Scheduling events and providing other types of admin support as needed for the CFCO team. Cross training and backup work for the Clinical Education (CFCO) team. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma (GED) Advanced proficiency in computer skills and information technology skills as required Administrative skills Excellent communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google suite of programs Experience completing work with a high level of detail with great accuracy Experience responding to email and verbal communications with timeliness and respect Experience keeping tasks and information organized and meeting deadlines Ability to work in multiple systems and workflows Experience managing a project to completion with little direction Experience keeping information confidential as needed Ability to learn new information technology programs as needed Preferred Qualifications Some college coursework and/or experience working in post-secondary education Two years of related work experience
EEO Statement Compensation:
Annual wage is $35,360 - $41,000 depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
