To Apply for this Job Click Here Human Resource Specialist - Contingent Workforce (Contract) Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Human Resource Specialist - Contingent Workforce to provide contract coverage during a leave of absence on the Contingent Workforce team. This role is ideal for a sharp, detail-oriented professional with experience in human resources, contingent workforce programs, or workforce operations. The position is local and requires an onsite presence 3 days per week.
Pay Rate:
$28-$29/hour
Type:
Contract (leave coverage, with opportunity for extension and become contract to hire in 2027 depending on work volume)

Local candidates will take priority due to the onsite requirement | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Position Overview In this role, you'll support and optimize an enterprise-wide Contingent Workforce Program by ensuring efficient operations, strong compliance, and a high-quality experience for internal partners and vendor stakeholders. You'll serve as a key point of contact for inquiries, systems support, and process execution related to non-employee workforce management. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contingent Workforce Program shared inbox, responding to phone, email, and chat inquiries with professionalism and accuracy Provide first- and second-level support for workforce systems, including Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms Research and resolve complex workforce-related issues by collaborating with internal teams and external vendor partners Maintain and update program documentation; identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Perform recurring audits and generate compliance and accuracy reports Support vendor onboarding, orientation coordination, and vendor support calls Execute HR and workforce transactions related to pre-boarding and onboarding within workforce systems Required Qualifications Strong customer service mindset with a genuine desire to support internal and external partners Excellent communication and listening skills with a professional, patient, and empathetic approach Comfort navigating business systems and learning new technologies High attention to detail with strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Self-directed and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a changing environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Contingent Workforce operations or Human Resources Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and HCM platforms, particularly VNDLY and Workday.
