This position serves as the primary point of contact for employee onboarding, HR recordkeeping, benefits administration, leave coordination, recruitment support, payroll processing, and HR compliance activities. The HR Generalist works collaboratively with leadership to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining accurate personnel records and compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate recruitment activities including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Facilitate preemployment processes including background studies, motor vehicle record reviews, reference checks, and credential verification. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding. Ensure completion and maintenance of all new hire documentation. Maintain applicant tracking and onboarding records. Employee Records & HR Administration Maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS records. Process employee status changes including hires, transfers, wage changes, and separations. Ensure compliance with record retention requirements. Manage employment verification requests and personnel documentation. Assist with HR reporting and workforce data tracking. Payroll & Benefits Administration Serve as the back up to process and audit payroll information for accuracy. Coordinate employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations. Serve as a resource to employees regarding benefit programs. Compliance & Policy Administration Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, forms, and employee handbook materials. Monitor required training completion and documentation. Employee Support Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures. Support performance review administration and tracking. WAGE RANGE
