Position Description:
The Leave of Absence Specialist is responsible supporting the administration of employee leave programs within the district, including those governed by federal law (e.g., FMLA), Minnesota state law (e.g., Minnesota Paid Leave, MN Parental Leave Act), school board policies, and collective bargaining agreements. This position also supports the monitoring of accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and responding to workers' compensation claims. This person supports the Human Resources department's compliance with all applicable regulations while providing professional and compassionate support to employees throughout the leave process.
Qualifications :
Minimum of associate's degree in a related field A minimum of two years of related professional experience. Experience in schools and/or community education preferred.
