ABOUT THE ROLE KVC
Missouri is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle within our assigned region. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive onboarding experience, maintaining compliance standards, supporting employee engagement efforts, and partnering with leadership to ensure operational excellence. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions Guide candidates through the onboarding process with consistent communication and support Conduct background checks and manage employment compliance documentation Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS and ADP systems Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation activities Ensure I-9 completion and regulatory compliance for all new hires Track onboarding progress and communicate updates to hiring managers and leadership Assist with internal and external audit preparation and documentation Support employee engagement initiatives and campus events Provide guidance regarding HR policies and procedures Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on special projects Deliver trainings and organizational updates to staff Travel as needed to support regional organizational needs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
Experience:
Entry-level experience in Human Resources or professional administration
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment
