Human Resources Generalist

Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations for the Uncle Ray's production facility in Montgomery City, MO. Partnering closely with both corporate and plant leadership, this role is responsible for a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and food industry regulations. Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and supervisors, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and support conflict resolution Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including production, maintenance, and administrative positions Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support workforce planning Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements Compliance & Policy Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, etc.) Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to food manufacturing requirements Maintain employee files and HRIS data accurately and confidentially Benefits, Payroll & HR Operations Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and life events Support payroll processes, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and leave administration Help implement and communicate HR programs and initiatives Training & Performance Management Coordinate training programs, including safety, harassment prevention, and compliance training Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or related field (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education)
• 2-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting hourly workforces and plant-based operations
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with employee benefits administration and payroll
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Computer Literacy including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a food manufacturing or regulated environment
• HRIS and timekeeping system experience
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification Travel Requirements
• Minimal travel is expected with this position Supervisory Responsibility
