Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. Review applications, conduct screenings, and coordinate interviews. Assist with employment offers and hiring decisions. Monitor recruiting metrics and workforce trends. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management Oversee onboarding and orientation activities. Ensure completion of all required employment documentation. Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and employment verification. Manage employee transfers, promotions, status changes, and separations. Support employee retention and engagement initiatives. Employee Relations & Workplace Investigations Conduct employee relations investigations involving policy violations, workplace concerns, harassment complaints, and performance issues. Gather and analyze facts, conduct interviews, and prepare investigation summaries. Partner with leadership to develop corrective action plans. Provide coaching and guidance to managers regarding employee relations matters. Assist with disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Benefits Administration Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit programs. Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and questions. Support open enrollment activities. Coordinate with benefit vendors and internal stakeholders. Maintain benefit records and compliance requirements. Assist with leave administration, including FMLA and ADA accommodations. HR Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain I-9 and employment eligibility compliance. Support audits, policy administration, and handbook updates. Monitor labor law posting requirements. Assist with unemployment claims and employment verifications. Employee Records Management Maintain personnel records and HRIS data integrity. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and document retention. Generate HR reports and workforce analytics. Support payroll and benefits administration activities as needed. Leadership Support Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees. Assist with HR projects and organizational initiatives. Provide support and decision-making assistance during the absence of the Human Resources Director. Participate in policy development and process improvement efforts. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience. Minimum 2 years handling employee relations investigations and disciplinary matters. Experience administering employee benefits programs. Experience supporting multi-state employment environments. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. UKG experience. Experience supporting organizations with multiple locations and 500+ employees. Experience conducting workplace investigations independently. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong investigative and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels. Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
