Job Description
HR Support Specialist Yazoo City, MS | Full-Time (Hourly) Key Responsibilities We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to support the Human Resources and Safety Department. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and able to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. This position requires someone who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and handle sensitive information with discretion. This role will provide day-to-day administrative support to Human Resources, Safety, and Operations, including maintaining accurate and confidential records, assisting with data entry, document management, and general office coordination. Provides member service support, administrative support, and dispatch support to the Operations Department as needed. In addition to supporting daily workflow, this person will serve as a reliable backup in critical functions to help ensure continuity of operations. Education and Experience A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree in business or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or Human Resources role is required, along with a proven track record of reliability and accuracy. Human Resources experience is highly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on tasks without constant direction is important in this role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential. This position requires clear and professional communication when working with employees, members, and vendors. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is expected at all times. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems is required, along with the ability to learn new programs and processes as needed. The right candidate will be comfortable working across departments, adapting to changing priorities, and stepping in where needed to support overall operations. Compensation Pay is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and the ability to perform the responsibilities of the role independently.
