We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to be responsible for managing and administering all human resources and payroll. This hands-on role serves as the sole HR professional and primary point of contact for employees and leadership regarding HR policies, payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and personnel records.
Essential Duties:
Process bi-weekly payroll Manage timekeeping systems and resolve payroll and timeclock discrepancies Track PTO Maintain employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and payroll documentation Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, 401(k) administration, leave programs, COBRA, and open enrollment Coordinate annual benefit renewals and assist with benefits audits Serve as liaison with benefit brokers, payroll providers, retirement vendors, and outside consultants Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and background checks Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes Complete new hire documentation including I-9s, E-Verify, W-4s, direct deposit, and required compliance forms Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Handle employee relations matters, policy interpretation, investigations, and disciplinary documentation Assist supervisors and managers with employee discipline and performance-related matters Counsel supervisors and managers on HR policies, employee relations issues, and best practices Coordinate and administer performance management and annual review processes Support compensation administration including wage analysis and pay adjustments Prepare and manage personnel budgets and labor-related reporting Prepare reports related to payroll, benefits, turnover, headcount, attendance, and HR metrics Coordinate unemployment claims, garnishments, child support orders, and required government reporting Coordinate employee training programs Manage relationships with temporary staffing agencies and contingent labor providers Conduct exit interviews and monitor turnover trends Support workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives Coordinate employee communications, morale programs, recognition activities, wellness initiatives, and company events Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information Provide day-to-day support to employees regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and workplace concerns Assist with additional administrative or operational functions as needed in support of the business Education/Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of HR and payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Knowledge/Skills and Ability Requirements:
Knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employment laws Experience with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, wage and hour regulations, and employment compliance requirements Experience with employee relations, investigations, and performance management Benefits for Regular Full-Time Employees:
