Responsbilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for facility employees in compliance with company and state regulations Complete new hire onboarding, payroll setup, tax witholding, and I-9 documentation Maintain confidential HR records including personnel, medical and compliance files Conduct new hire orientation in conjunction with the Staff Development Coordinator to create a positive onboarding experience for all new hires Support recruitment and hiring, including job postings, interviews, background checks, and onboarding Handle employee relations, investigations, and escalations to Corporate Human Resources Manage unemployment claims and participate in hearings as needed Assist with HR audits, HIPPA complinace, OSHA tracking, Workers' Compensation, and risk management. Analyze payroll reports and resolve discrepencies Participate in daily staffing meetings, employee recognition and retention programs Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred HR Generalist and Payroll experience required Healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility experience preferred Experience with ADP Lyric, Workforce Manager, or similiar HRIS/payroll systems Proficient in Micorsoft Office and HR software systems Physical Requirements Office-based position with sitting, bending, and keyboard use Occasional lifiting of 10-25 pounds Service Standards Sincere Appreciation...for everyone Hearing needs...and responding quickly Caring approach...in everything we do Managing situations...for positive outcomes If you value sincere appreciation for everyone, listening and responding quickly to needs, and approaching every situation with care and positivity, we invite you to apply today and join
Silas Creek Rehab Center Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer.
  • Previous payroll/HR experience, preferably with UltiPro and/or Kronos.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT
Working in normal office environment, employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, and use keyboard. May occasionally lift objects of 10 to 25 lbs. In compliance with applicable law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident's protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law. Agrees to adhere to and oversee communication of privacy guidelines relative to the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.
