Drug Prevention Specialist Organization:
The Zone Afterschool Program Location:
Norfolk, NE Job Type:
Part-time 20-25 hours per week
Pay:
$17-$18
DOE Position Summary:
The Zone is seeking a Drug Prevention Specialist to support junior high and high school youth through education, mentorship, and prevention programming. This role focuses on helping students build life skills and make healthy choices.
Responsibilities:
Lead drug and alcohol prevention lessons and activities Build positive relationships with youth (grades 7-12) Facilitate group discussions and engagement Track participation and assist with reporting Support daily afterschool programming as needed
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth preferred Must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable transporting youth as part of the role Strong communication and leadership skills Passion for prevention and mentorship Reliable and team-oriented
Schedule:
