$30.00 per hour Job Summary A growing home care agency is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support employee relations, workforce compliance, attendance management, leave administration, and personnel documentation. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee-related concerns and works closely with Operations, Clinical, Scheduling, and Recruiting teams to ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal labor regulations, and employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in maintaining workforce compliance, supporting employee retention efforts, and helping the organization continue its growth while maintaining a positive workplace culture. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Workforce Compliance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred Experience in home care, healthcare, or human services strongly preferred Knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and employee relations practices preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and electronic record systems Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Human Resources Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations concerns and workplace issues Investigate employee complaints, concerns, and workplace conflicts Support employee retention initiatives and recognition programs Coordinate and track employee leaves of absence, including: FMLA and Medical Leave Leave of Absence (LOA) PTO and Sick Time ADA Accommodation Requests Workers' Compensation Claims Vocational Rehabilitation Requests Process employee status changes, disciplinary documentation, and separation records Assist with employee investigations and corrective action processes Support additional human resources initiatives as assigned by leadership Workforce Compliance & Administration Monitor employee attendance, call-offs, tardiness, and no-call/no-show incidents Monitor employee classification status to ensure compliance with company policies regarding full-time, part-time, per diem, and temporary employment designations Conduct audits of employee hours worked and benefit eligibility Collaborate with Scheduling, Operations, and Payroll teams regarding employee status and benefit eligibility requirements Identify employees whose average hours may require a change in employment status Track attendance trends and provide reports to department leadership Follow up with employees regarding attendance concerns and policy violations Track required employee training, certifications, licenses, and annual education requirements Work closely with Clinical and Recruiting teams to maintain workforce compliance Maintain compliance reports and notify leadership of upcoming expirations or deficiencies Assist with audits related to employee records and personnel files Support compliance with Department of Labor regulations and company policies Maintain accurate employee records within company systems Stay informed regarding labor law updates and workforce compliance requirements What We Offer $30.00 per hour Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing healthcare organization Professional development and advancement opportunities Our Commitment We are committed to creating a workplace built on respect, accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
