Job Description
Description We are looking for an HR Consultant to support key people operations for a long-term contract assignment in Keene, New Hampshire. This HR Consultant position will support nonprofits, schools, and social impact organizations in developing equitable, competitive, and sustainable compensation programs and organizational structures. This role involves research, data analysis, and client support across compensation, benefits, pay equity, and organizational design projects. Based on general knowledge.
Responsibilities:
+ Research peer organizations and gather compensation, benefits, and HR practice data from public records, surveys, interviews, and databases. Based on general knowledge. + Review client job descriptions to identify key knowledge, skills, abilities, and role scope. Based on general knowledge. + Benchmark roles using compensation databases and publicly available market data. Based on general knowledge. + Clean, organize, and analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, target pay levels, and potential pay equity gaps. Based on general knowledge. + Prepare charts, graphs, and summaries to support client recommendations and presentations. Based on general knowledge. + Provide project and logistical support throughout client engagements. Based on general knowledge. Requirements- Experience working in a generalist HR role with responsibility for employee relations and daily HR administration.
- Practical knowledge of onboarding workflows, including new employee documentation and orientation coordination.
- Familiarity with employee benefits support, such as enrollment assistance and responding to benefit-related questions.
- Proficiency using HRIS platforms to manage employee data and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and leaders.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
