This is a Temp opportunity, located in Long Islandy City, NY.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate payroll processes by collecting, reviewing, and submitting employee data such as new hires, terminations, pay changes, and timekeeping information to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, leave programs, and wellness offerings; serve as the main point of contact for employee questions and vendor coordination Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including posting roles, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating hiring logistics, and assisting with offer and onboarding processes Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by addressing employee relations matters, answering policy-related questions, and supporting performance management and corrective action processes Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation, documentation, system access, and exit processes Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and compliance Support HR policies and procedures, helping ensure consistent application and compliance with employment laws and internal guidelines Assist with audits, reporting, and HR metrics related to benefits, payroll, and workforce data Partner with leadership on employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and culture-related programs Stay current on HR best practices, employment regulations, and benefits trends to support continuous process improvement
