Overview As a Human Resources Intern you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of both the Executive Office & Human Resources assisting with essential administrative tasks. Work closely with the Director of Human Resources on important responsibilities such as new hire onboarding and administration, employee relations, training and communications with both hotel departments and Highgate corporate offices. Gain valuable experience within HR Operations and contribute to our team. Responsibilities Human resources (HR) intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities. Assist in administrative tasks in the HR department. Responsible for creating new hire files and audit employee files. Assist with associate event planning and execution. Support HR policies and procedures. Create and update HR analytic excel templates Input updates on the department's internal HR systems and databases. Qualifications Bachelor's concentration in HR, Psychology or Communications. Graduating Senior as prefered, minimum Junior Status in college level coursework are also considered. Able to demonstrate professional work ethic. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel. Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June-August 2026).
