Job Description
Position Summary The Senior Coordinator, Inclusion and Engagement, provides vital day-to-day operational support for firm inclusion and engagement programming. This role is responsible for coordinating programming, events, communications, and various initiatives, while supporting affinity groups and managing business resource groups and department-wide projects. The Senior Coordinator plays an instrumental role in delivering meaningful employee experiences that support retention, connection, and inclusion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Proactively develop creative and strategic ways for affinity groups and business resource groups (BRGs) to build community and raise awareness of the group across the firm. Coordinate the firm's affinity groups and BRGs efforts for attorneys and business services professionals. Including attending steering committee and advisory board meetings and collecting minutes. Provide programmatic support for the affinity groups and BRGs, including program idea development, reserving conference rooms, sending and tracking invitations and attendance. Support team leadership in the development and execution of a strategy aligned firm wide yearly I&E curriculum. Provide support to the I&E team for work relating to business development programming and communications, including firm-wide emails, intranet postings, among other communication vehicles. Coordinate and plan summer events related to the firm's affinity groups and summer associates. Ensure I&E calendar and trackers are up to date and coordinate with other departments for scheduling. Assist with the creation of presentations and programs. Partner with Communications and Graphics teams to produce department assets. Conduct research on industry trends and practices to inform program design. Manage the registration process and relationships for industry I&E-focused conferences and process I&E programming sponsorship and related expenses. Stay up to date with developments in the industry through virtual and in-person programming and networking. Qualifications/Position Requirements Knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding I&E and a willingness to learn. Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. Must be able to multi-task and take direction from numerous individuals. Exceptional judgment and discretion. Strong commitment to service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with others, demonstrating outstanding teamwork skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility in daily schedule to accommodate unexpected situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Must be punctual and reliable. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications as needed. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm Compensation The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000-$90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
