AB_4953415 The People Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional employee experience from day one. This position is critical in managing the onboarding process and supporting People operations, ensuring new employees are smoothly integrated into the client and feel supported every step of the way. Responsibilities include overseeing the full lifecycle of talent onboarding, delivering outstanding service through ticketing support, and maintaining data integrity through regular audits. As a vital member of the People Operations team, the People Coordinator combines a friendly, proactive approach with a focus on detail and operational efficiency, all while striving to create an exceptional experience our employees can brag about. WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field OR 4 years related experience preferred 2+ years' experience in a HR or employee onboarding position Technical Skills:
Experience with Workday is necessary to be successful in this role. (experience with other HR Information Systems, ATS + Payroll applications may be considered.) Familiarity with benefits programs such as health insurance + 401k plans Knowledge of state, local + federal employment/labor law Outstanding communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and maintain confidentiality is a must Energetic, motivated, and a passionate self-starter. Customer service-driven with a flexible, adaptable approach to solving challenges throughout the employee lifecycle. Act as the first-line support for employee inquiries via the ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution and SLA compliance. Data Integrity:
Manage the full employee lifecycle in the HRIS (promotions, transfers, offboarding), performing regular audits and generating ad-hoc reports for leadership. Compliance & Admin:
Oversee unemployment claims, I-9 reverifications, and regulatory document requests; maintain accurate digital employee files. Process Improvement:
Partner with Field People Partners to communicate process changes and support large-scale projects like performance reviews and staff budgeting. Onboarding Excellence Lifecycle Management:
Own the end-to-end onboarding process, from pre-hire communication and compliance checks (background/drug screens) to hosting LIVE Day 1 Orientations. New Hire Experience:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees resolving Day 1 hurdles regarding benefits, payroll, and IT setup. Workday & Compliance:
Execute accurate data entry for new profiles and ensure 100% I-9 compliance within the first three days of employment. Stakeholder Reporting:
Provide weekly onboarding status updates to local and regional leadership to track new hire progress. Innovation:
Collaborate with the NERD team to proactively troubleshoot and enhance the onboarding experience for long-term success.
