Job Description

Job Overview Under direction of the Business Administrator/HR, the Human Resource Officer is responsible for maintaining biweekly payroll, managing the proper deductions changes in payroll, as well as providing support to the Business Administrator/HR. Duties . Assists the Business Administrator/HR as assigned; maintains biweekly payroll and manages payroll functions (e.g., manages deduction changes for payroll; manages Kronos for daily punches; manages request for paid time off; ensures employee absence forms are submitted and completed; maintains employee personnel, payroll, and medical files; ensures
FMLA/LOA
reporting is completed; maintains union membership; performs healthcare maintenance; ensures monthly billing is completed, etc.); provides assistance with new employee preparation and orientation. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Possession of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. deal with many variables and determine specific action; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; read, copy, and record figures accurately; develop and maintain effective working relationships; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, picture, or schedule form; maintain accurate records; exercise independent judgment and discretion; communicate effectively; maintain confidentiality; resolve complaints from public; handle sensitive inquiries from and contacts with officials and general public; add, subtract, multiply, and divide; prepare routine correspondence; prepare accurate documentation; compile and prepare reports.
Pay:
From $19.79 per hour
