Human Resource Generalist Mike Albert Leasing - 3.8 Cincinnati, OH Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management Full Job Description Human Resource Generalist The Human Resource (HR) Generalist is a proactive, detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting and enhancing our human resources operations. This role manages a diverse range of HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance. The position requires a people-focused individual who can effectively balance essential administrative responsibilities with strategic organizational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are current, compliant, and audit-ready Act as a frontline resource for associate questions and concerns; provide guidance on policies, procedures, and performance expectations. Support employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving workplace issues, and promoting a positive work environment Conduct fact-finding, document incidents, and support workplace investigations in partnership with HR leadership Assist with progressive discipline processes, conflict resolution, and investigation outcomes Support performance management processes, including reviews, documentation, and goal tracking Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and organizational needs Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives Serve as payroll backup by reviewing timekeeping, verifying employee changes (hires, terminations, pay updates), assisting with payroll processing, and responding to payroll-related inquiries Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources required 1-3 years of HR experience (HR Generalist or similar role preferred) Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite HR certification, SHRM or PHR, preferred Key Competencies Confidentiality and integrity Attention to detail Conflict resolution Time management Adaptability and teamwork
