Description Essential Functions:
Support the administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) Assist in reviewing benefit plans for competitiveness and alignment with company policies Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions, assisting in issue resolution and escalations Assist with annual open enrollment, including employee communications and system updates Partner with the HR Manager and vendors to resolve benefits-related issues Maintain accurate benefits records and help ensure compliance with applicable regulations Support leave of absence administration, including FMLA, STD, and LTD cases, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining accurate records Assist in maintaining documentation and responding to employee inquiries related to leave of absence and benefits Aid in the implementation of new HR/benefits programs and provide feedback on effectiveness Support the administration and ongoing monitoring of the company's 401(k) plan, including employee inquiries, basic reconciliations, and coordination with plan vendors Provide backup support for payroll processing, including data entry and basic audits Assist with timekeeping and ensure employee data accuracy Respond to employee payroll-related questions Support HR reporting and administrative processes Make recommendations to improve, streamline, and automate HR processes for greater efficiency Additional duties as requested or required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred 3+ years of HR experience, ideally with exposure to benefits or leave administration Strong knowledge of HR systems (Paycom preferred), Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Hands-on, service-oriented individual with exceptional verbal, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated to proactively develop solutions with little instruction Ability to analyze benefit data and make logical conclusions Ability to work under frequent time deadlines An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer -M/F/Disabled/Vet
