HR Generalist AWS/CES is looking for an HR Generalist for our automotive manufacturing client
Location:
Napoleon, OH Pay rate: up to $27.00/hr.Shift :
7am-3pmJob Type:
Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in talent acquisition, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance, while helping to foster an engaged and high-performing workforce. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly personnel, including temporary and direct hires, onboarding, and internal mobility Manage HR administrative functions including onboarding, orientation, transfers, and offboarding processes Maintain and update HRIS systems and employee lifecycle data , ensuring accuracy and compliance Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support business decisions Maintain employee personnel records and internal communications (e.g., bulletin boards, updates) Support and drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture Respond to employee inquiries and provide day-to-day HR support Assist with employee relations matters , including investigations and disciplinary actions when necessary Recommend and implement process improvements, policies, and procedures Support union-related processes , including job postings, bidding, and candidate selection communication Administer HR programs such as FMLA, disability, tuition reimbursement, and workplace policies Manage payroll and attendance tracking for hourly employees Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations , including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEOC, ADEA, NLRA, ERISA, OSHA, and FLSA Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build relationships across all levels Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with SAP or other HRIS systems preferred If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume to: 📧 carmen @canadianexecutivesearch.com CESGUS Apply For this Job × Company This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
