Job Description

Description The Delaware County District Library is seeking to hire a full-time Human Resources Specialist to support the Library's day-to-day HR operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, you will manage the recruitment lifecycle, maintain employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure policy compliance across all Library departments.
Recruitment:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all Library vacancies.
HR Support:
Process transactions, maintain system-wide staff records, and provide day-to-day operational support.
Benefits and Compliance:
Assist with benefits administration and rigorously track compliance with HR policies and procedures.
General Assistance:
Provide day-to-day technical and administrative support to all departments and ensure consistent application of personnel rules. The pay range for this non-exempt position is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour and depends on qualifications. This position will remain open until June 19, 2026. Requirements An associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Two to three years of progressively responsible human resources experience is preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Public sector or nonprofit experience preferred. Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as required. The schedule may change as the needs of the Library change. Ability to travel between Library locations as needed. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
