Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, making it essential for the candidate to possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human capital management. Responsibilities Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Administer employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture. Oversee employee evaluation processes and performance management systems to enhance workforce productivity. Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with
FMLA, OSHA
regulations, and other employment and labor laws. Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits administration. Utilize HRIS systems such as Paylocity for data entry and management of employee records, training available if necessary. Support change management initiatives through effective communication and training programs. Assist in strategic planning efforts related to organization design and workforce management. Conduct data collection and analysis to inform HR decisions and improve processes. Implement affirmative action planning and succession planning strategies to promote diversity and career growth within the organization. Collaborate with management on project management initiatives related to HR functions. Qualifications Proven experience in human resources management with a solid understanding of talent management principles. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including workers' compensation regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Experience in performance management, training & development, and conflict management is highly desirable. Administrative experience with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent initiative when necessary.
