Job Description
Seeking an experienced HR professional with demonstrated expertise in employee relations, compliance, and partnering with frontline operational leaders. As an HR Generalist for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, you will be a strategic and tactical partner to business leaders and a dedicated advocate for our employees. This role is ideal for HR professionals with proven experience who can navigate complex employee relations issues, facilitate impactful training, and drive HR processes with integrity and accuracy. This isn't just an administrative HR role, it requires confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to influence leaders while managing multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of professional HR experience with direct exposure to employee relations. HR certification strongly preferred — SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR. Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and HR best practices. Proven experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop training materials and explain complex processes. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. High level of integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn HRIS and reporting systems. Experience in high‑volume, fast‑moving operational environments. Demonstrated ability to use HR data/metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Experience partnering with frontline leaders on coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management. Must have direct experience handling full-scope employee relations and workplace investigations. Must be able to independently manage complex ER cases from intake to resolution. General administrative experience alone does not meet minimum requirements. Must be able to deliver training to groups of 20-200 employees. Guide and interpret HR policies and procedures for diverse business operations. Partner with HR and operational leaders to support employee relations, corrective action, and investigative processes. Participate in the development of HR systems, metrics, and reporting needed to support business objectives. Provide high‑value tactical HR support across multiple departments to meet organizational goals. Support HR initiatives and partner with HR leadership on process improvements, compliance, and risk mitigation. Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and employees, ensuring HR is viewed as a trusted partner. Deliver annual and ad‑hoc training sessions for employees and leadership. Conduct HR compliance audits and support regulatory requirements. Manage assigned employee investigations (including EthicsPoint cases) with confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism.
