Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Intern and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of talent management and organizational development. This on site, paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human capital management, employment law, employee relations, and HRIS systems. You will support key HR functions, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop essential skills that will propel your career in human resources. If you're passionate about fostering positive workplace environments and eager to learn from seasoned professionals, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition processes ie: filing and auditing personnel records to ensure compliance. Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration for new hires. Participate in benefits administration tasks such as data entry, benefits enrollment, and compliance documentation related to FMLA, Workers' Compensation, OSHA, and other employment laws. Support HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning. Maintain accurate HR records using systems while ensuring data collection integrity. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field. Demonstrated interest in human resources management, talent acquisition, or organizational development. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization. Basic knowledge of HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and record keeping. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Prior administrative experience is a plus.
