Employee Relations Specialist Hanover, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22478570 Summary Hanover, PA In-Person $32.00•$38.00 per Hour 3 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Our partner in Mountville, PA is a leading company in the snack industry. They are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented candidate that can join them as an Employee Relations Specialist.
Shift:
Monday•Friday 8:00AM•4:30
PM Pay:
$32•$38
Duties & Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate complaints or arguments to determine viability Schedule or coordinate the details of grievance hearings or other meetings Manage the one-on-one meeting with employees Monitor company or workforce adherence to labor legislation Advise the Employee Relations Coordinator on matters related to administration or employee discipline or grievance procedures Develop methods to monitor employee satisfaction with policies or working confitions, including grievance and complaint procedures Manage the suggestion and the communication of the feedback Follow up on disciplined employees and review progress and feelings related to the matter Assist in the creation of policies relating to employee sensitivity Assist int he training of mangers and supervisors on the sensitivity perspective of employee matters Perform weekly floor walks to engage and communicate back to employees Perform other assigned duties Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations Must follow GMPs, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines Comply with all Company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Conflict Resolution Knowledge of Labor Relations Act, the negotiating process, applicable sections of the OSHA Act, the Employment Standards Act, related statutes and case law Understanding of Labor Relations Board procedures and processes Ability to gain and maintain the respect and confidence of parties in an often-hostile atmosphere Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively Skilled in problem solving and able to develop innovative approaches to complex labor relations or employment issues Demonstrate strong organizational skills Pay close attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
