Job Description
AZ HR Hub is seeking a Phoenix-based Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish)! We thrive on running side by side with small business owners so they can dream big! This position will start part-time (25 - 29 hours per week); however, anticipates growing into full-time (30+ hours per week quickly.) Please read the information below and submit your resume! What will you be doing? We are looking for a bilingual HR Generalist with at least 3 years of solid, "nitty-gritty" HR experience. This role will collaborate with our Clients on a regular basis. Our ideal person holds an academic HR background combined with work experience as an HR Generalist . This person will also have ample experience conducting audits and investigations. This person must be able to effectively juggle multiple clients, be self-motivated, be organized, pivot quickly as different things come up, and be able to "figure things out". Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, compliance, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development to multiple clients. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations for multiple clients. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. May need to process payroll using ADP (Workforce Now) or Paylocity. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Assists in development and implementation of human resource policies. Undertakes tasks around performance management. Gathers and analyzes data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates. Onboarding new employees for clients. Organizes quarterly and annual employee performance reviews. Answering HR-related queries and requests. Maintaining and updating employee records (in an HRIS). Other duties as assigned. What skills are we looking for? Proven work experience as an HR Generalist. Very knowledgeable with multi-state compliance rules and regulations. Hands-on experience with software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS). Strong discernment and decision-making skills. Excellent speaking and listening skills to share information effectively while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from clients and job candidates. Meticulous and detail-oriented. Working knowledge of ADP (Workforce Now) and Paylocity (highly preferred) . Exceptional reading comprehension. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and fluid work environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or proprietary information. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products. Must be customer-friendly and have a friendly disposition.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience. Must be located in Arizona; the Greater Phoenix, AZ is preferred. Experience with complex HR issues. Processing payroll in ADP and Paylocity. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience leading investigations and able to correctly direct compliance matters. Microsoft 365 required. Preferred.Education:
BS/MS in Human Resource Management preferred. SHRM or HRCI preferred. To fully perform their duties, the HR Generalist will be required to sit and work at a computer keyboard for long periods of time.EOE/AA/Disabled/Veterans Pay:
