Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator (Hybrid) is a full-time hybrid role located in Shakopee, MN. The ideal candidate will be able to work Monday through Friday, 3 days on-site (T, W, TH) in a fast-paced, collaborative, and engaging environment. The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the Human Resources team assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Activities will focus on onboarding, offboarding, planning meetings and employee events. Engagement & culture initiatives, supporting HR programs. Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires (e.g., background checks, pre-employment paperwork, orientation scheduling). Prepare and process new hire documentation, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the HRIS. Partner with IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to ensure equipment, systems access, and workspaces are set up on time. Coordinate offboarding processes, including termination checklists, communications, and necessary documentation. Process employee terminations in the HRIS and other systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support exit interview and offboarding feedback processes, helping to capture insights and trends. Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (e.g., hires, transfers, status changes, personal data updates, reporting line changes). Generate standard HR reports and dashboards (e.g., headcount, turnover, org changes) as requested. Support HR documentation, including maintaining digital files, templates, SOPs, and employee communications. Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and HRIS navigation, escalating complex issues as needed. Help coordinate HR events, trainings, and communications, including logistics, invitations, and tracking participation. Partner with other HR team members, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery. enrollment and throughout the year pertaining to general questions and leave of absences. Perform other duties as necessary and needed based on the needs of members and the human resources department. Ability to communicate with a diverse employee base. Performs a variety of duties with frequent interruptions or distractions, adjusting priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service to employees and work collaboratively with coworkers and other team members. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and prioritize responsibilities to work efficiently. Proficient computer programs knowledge and experience required (Google, Microsoft Office / HR systems: ADP, Workday, Kronos experience is preferred). Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with highly sensitive data and remain calm and professional during stressful situations. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent experience. One to three years of administrative experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment is preferred. Experience working in a light industrial, manufacturing, and/or warehouse environment is highly preferred. Previous experience using HRIS and/or ATS systems Experience attending employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Working knowledge of employment and employee related state and federal rules and regulations Ability to work across all levels of the organization and develop recruiting strategies for positions from front line to executive level
Travel:
Occasional travel as required. Less than 5% Work location: This position is primarily an onsite role with an ability to work remotely up to 2-days a week.Working Environment:

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $55,000 to $65,000 /yr. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
