We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support and manage all HR functions across our New Jersey operations. This role is responsible for onboarding, training compliance, employee relations, and ensuring adherence to state and organizational policies. The ideal candidate is organized, knowledgeable in NJ labor practices, and passionate about fostering a compliant and positive workplace. Key Responsibilities Create & manage hiring plans while managing recruitment efforts Facilitate Interviews Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, system setup, and orientation Coordinate and track training compliance, ensuring all employees meet required certifications and deadlines Facilitate and support new hire training programs Prepare and manage employee write-ups, disciplinary actions, and documentation in alignment with company policy Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support Ensure compliance with New Jersey labor laws and company policies Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems Assist with audits, reporting, and internal compliance reviews Handle general HR responsibilities and special projects as assigned Manage exit interviews Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of HR experience (healthcare or ABA setting preferred) Knowledge of New Jersey employment laws and regulations Experience with onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee relations Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Skills & Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving and critical thinking Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace FLSA and Employment Status Part-time Benefits 401K, Flexible Work Setting Training Assistance w Certifications Opportunities for growth and development Collaborative and supportive team environment How to Apply Visit our Job Board at: https://jobs.appone.com/abadaybyday Select the specific position you are applying for and complete the application by: Uploading your resume and CV Filling out your personal information Completing the education, experience, and additional details sections Please ensure all sections are fully completed before submitting your application.
