Full Job Description Job Summary/Company :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Investigations Analyst to support a large public-sector organization's employee and labor relations team in conducting workplace investigations. This team provides HR and employee relations support across multiple departments and service areas within the community, ensuring that workplace concerns are addressed promptly, fairly, and in compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong investigative, analytical, and writing skills, along with experience in employee relations or workplace investigations. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping to resolve complex employee matters and strengthen organizational culture through fair and transparent processes. This position will be a Part-Time opportunity with between 20-30 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities :
Conduct fact-finding activities and interviews related to employee relations and workplace investigations. Develop investigation plans based on provided templates, outlining scope, issues, and potential violations. Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews (typically one hour each). Take detailed interview notes and prepare comprehensive investigation reports summarizing findings. Collaborate with HR managers, department directors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of investigations. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information. Adapt to fluctuating investigation volumes and manage scheduling flexibility based on interview needs.
Qualifications/Background Profile :
Proven experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, or similar HR functions. Background in employment law, legal investigations, or equal opportunity (EO) investigations. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Law, or a related field. Strong writing, analytical, and documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills. - This job is Hybrid Remote.
