Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Specialist to assist with key human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help us connect with the best talent while fostering positive relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our company's growth through strategic talent acquisition initiatives. Must be bilingual with ability to work within the Hispanic Communities in SC and NC.
Responsibilities Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Posting job openings, reviewing applications, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating feedback, and assisting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure a smooth candidate experience
Onboarding and Employee Administration:
Guiding new hires through orientation, maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS systems, tracking employee changes, and supporting payroll reviews Assist with administering benefit and compensation information
Policy Compliance and HR Procedures:
Assist with ensuring adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies, implementing HR procedures, and maintaining a healthy workplace environment
Employee Relations and Support:
Addressing basic employee questions and supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives Skills and Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, managers, and HR leadership Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records Proven experience in recruiting within human resources or related fields with a focus on talent management, sourcing, and candidate engagement. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as Centrally HR (Powered by CBiz), managing employee data and recruitment workflows. Familiarity with employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliant hiring practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct interviews confidently and build rapport with diverse candidates. Ability to travel to recruiting event Experience in sales techniques such as cold calling for lead generation is highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
