We are growing and are now seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a senior level resource within DSHR supporting all data needs. This includes the responsibility of ensuring data integrity within the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS), providing ad hoc reports to the General Assembly members and legislative committees, and responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for human resources information. Serve as a liaison to SCEIS regarding reporting and data related projects. This position is onsite in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities of the
Senior Data Consultant:
Act as the subject matter expert on Human Resources reporting, using BEx queries, Business Objects, HRIS, Excel, NEOGov, Tableau and other tools to create reports in response to General Assembly, legislative committee, FOIA and other requests. Collaborate with SCEIS reporting team to continuously improve human resources reporting in business objects and BEx for DSHR and other state agencies. Train and assist state agencies in human resources reporting and data analytics efforts to include the creation of reports, dashboards and other data visualizations using Excel, Tableau, etc. Complete various adhoc reports that are requested throughout the normal course of DSHR business. Other duties as required. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree and professional experience related to the position.
Additional Requirements:
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to influence decisions. Strong to advanced Excel skills. Experience with business objects and SAP BEx queries. Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends. Position may be required to report to work during emergency situations. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience in Human Resources data management and analysis, business reporting, and qualitative and quantitative analytics.
