Department USD-Human Resources Physical Location of Position (City) Sioux Falls Posting Text We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of the HR department and ensuring the efficient management of HR functions. You will work closely with employees and management to address HR-related matters, promote a positive workplace culture, and help driveanizational success.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations:
Counsel supervisors and managers on HR policies and procedures, performance concerns or office relationships, support the annual performance review process, and guide leaders in creating a positive workplace culture.
HR Data/HRIS:
Maintain accurate HR records and employee files. Utilize HRIS software to manage employee data, track time and attendance, and generate HR-related reports.
Recruitment:
Support the full recruitment cycle, build relationships with hiring managers, and assist departments in developing advertisement strategies. Specific HR responsibilities and assignments will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and interests.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in Human Resources or aparable field, preferably as an HR Generalist. Kledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Strongmunication skills and experience with difficult conversations. Detail-oriented with excellentanizational skills. Strong, proactive problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in HRIS/Data Management and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
